A Hot Glass Experience in the Flame Shop ~ Prior experience required in the Flame Shop
$85 per person. Please register 1 to 3 people via our website.
Details: Join us for an hour-long class! Prior experience in the Flame Shop is required. This class takes place in the Flame Shop, where students stand at their own hot torch and work on their projects independently. Work with your instructor to learn a new skill or technique, then have fun melting your own glass creations for the duration of your scheduled time.
Age Limits: In order to take this class by yourself, you must be at least 18 years of age. Children ages 12+ may take the class with at least one adult aged 21 or over registering and taking the class with them.
Cancellation Policy: Schedule your hour-long class here, making your non-refundable payment in advance. We have a 48-hour cancellation policy, where we are happy to reschedule for any reason if you email us a minimum of 48 hours before your scheduled class. In regards to illness, we are most certainly willing to reschedule outside of that 48-hour window, but we do require an e-mail before 9 am the day of your class. No shows or tardy cancellations will result in us keeping your payment with no exceptions.
On the day of your class: Masks are required inside our studio space at all times. We do not allow guests within the studio outside of our registered students. Sneakers are required – no open-toed shoes.
Finding us: We are located at 79 Hadley Road in Jaffrey, on the blue side of the building. Enter through the door that the wooden handicap ramp leads to. We will meet you at this front door 5 minutes before the start of your class.
Gift Shop: We no longer have a retail space. Our former gift shop is now rented out by a separate entity – Chaotic Lily. They have their space open to the public within certain hours that they set. Please feel free to check out their schedule and consider coming early to support our neighbors! There is also food available on the other end of our building; check out Cafe 532 for their working schedule.
After Class: Your class will end on the hour before we respectfully ask you to depart the studio in a timely manner. Your work will be ready for pick-up a minimum of 24 hours after your class, which can be scheduled through our calendar at www.terrapinglass.com/calendar . If you would like shipping, we will do that through email and a square invoice.
