Welcome to the Flame Shop at Terrapin Glassblowing Studio!
Saturday, February 28, 2026, noon to 4 pm
We’re excited to welcome Celia Garland back into our studio! Celia is a world-renowned torch artist and instructor and will be sharing her “Bottles into Beads” project with students. Learn how to effectively reuse bottle glass with techniques like hot-popping, melting and pulling out rods and stringers of color, and using that glass to create beautiful beads while learning about the environmental impacts of glass and how to be more sustainable in your craft.
$250 per person. Please register early to confirm your spot.
There is a 5-person minimum for this class, and a 10-person maximum. If the minimum is not met by (date to be determined), we will be in contact to discuss adjustments.
Prerequisites: 8+ hours of recent flameworking experience. Students should feel confident working independently on the torch.
