Forest Friends Workshop
An Off-Mandrel Soft Glass Sculpting Class
With Jocelyn Brown @jocelotglass
Saturday, April 18, 2026, from noon to 4 pm

Take your soft glass skills to the next level with Jocelyn! Learn how to gather, shape, sculpt, and create patterns off the mandrel.Jocelyn is known for pushing the boundaries with soft glass and will encourage you to do the same. Go larger than you have before and make a few cute forest friends in the process

Prerequisites:

Intermediate glass experience (at least 8 recent hours working on the torch) is acceptable for this class. Anyone under the age of 18 must register with an adult, pay, and participate in the class with them. Ages 12+ are appropriate

Bio:
Jocelyn Brown lives in Peterborough, NH.  A native of Ashburnham, MA, she received her bachelor’s degrees in both Fine Arts and Art Education with a minor in Glass from Massachusetts College of Art and Design, Boston.  She is a juried member of the League of New Hampshire Craftsmen, and she creates art out of her home. Utilizing both flame and furnace techniques, Jocelyn creates nature-inspired art for your home or sacred space and ethereal jewelry with intention. A contrasting blend of whimsy and sophistication, her work inspires balance for any stage of life.

  • No-shows or late cancellations forfeit payment

Location:
 79 Hadley Road, Jaffrey—enter at the first door on the blue side of the building. Wheelchair and ramp accessible through an alternate entrance. Just give us a call when you arrive!
