Think making a glass pipe looks easy? Come find out.

Join Dominique for a fun, private flameworking experience where you and a partner will work together on a torch to create your own glass pipes while discovering just how much skill goes into these everyday functional pieces.

Whether you come with a friend, partner, sibling, or fellow glass enthusiast, this 90-minute session is designed to be relaxed, hands-on, and full of laughs. You’ll quickly discover that what experienced glass artists make look effortless actually takes years of practice, which is exactly what makes this class so much fun.

How it Works

Your session begins with a brief safety orientation and introduction to the torch and tools. Dominique will then demonstrate how to make a simple, clear glass pipe, explaining each step along the way. You’ll even get to keep the demonstration pipe!

To maximize your hands-on time, all of the difficult prep work will already be done. Using pre-made clear glass blanks, you and your partner will take turns at your own torches, learning how to shape and finish your own funky, one-of-a-kind clear pipes.

Expect plenty of laughs, a few surprises, and a whole new appreciation for the craft. Your pipes won’t be perfect and that’s the point! This is an experience class focused on learning, trying something new, and having fun.

During the session, you’ll create approximately five clear pipes between the two of you, with the final 15 minutes reserved for questions, cleanup, and allowing your pieces to begin annealing.

Cost: $225 per private session (total cost for 2 people)

Ages: 21+ only. Valid government-issued photo ID is required for both participants.

Space is extremely limited. Each time slot is reserved exclusively for you and your guest, giving you a private, personalized glassblowing class experience in the studio.

Additional Class Details:

• Studio is private—only registered participants are allowed in the studio during class.
• Your glass will not be ready to take home that same day. 
  • We recommend signing up for shipping at the same time as booking your class.
  • If you live locally and would like to pick up your glass, it will be ready 48 hours after your class ends.  Please use our pick-up calendar to schedule a date & time. 
    • If your glass is not picked up within two weeks of your class, it will be recycled. 

Cancellation Policy:

• Payments are non-refundable
• Reschedule with 48+ hours’ notice (via email)
• If you’re sick or the weather is an issue, email us by 9 AM the day of class to reschedule
• No-shows or late cancellations forfeit payment

79 Hadley Road, Jaffrey—enter at the first door on the blue side of the building. Wheelchair and ramp accessible through an alternate entrance. Just give us a call when you arrive!
