Yes! If you selected “local pickup” on your order, you will receive an email from us stating that your Order is complete. This email will contain the link to schedule your contact-free pickup.
The process of making Memorials is very delicate and precise in nature; only our two most experienced glassblowers work on these precious pieces. The Memorials are made in a private setting with utmost respect given to each and every piece. As you can imagine, Memorials can be a very emotional and sensitive thing and having the loved ones watching over the artists’ shoulder may cause undue stress.
While we know how special it would be to make a piece of glass with ashes encased, unfortunately it isn’t something that we can make with students. The process is very delicate and precise in nature; only our two most experienced glassblowers work on these precious pieces. The Memorials are made in a private setting with utmost respect given to each and every piece. As you can imagine, Memorials can be a very emotional and sensitive thing and we strive to make our class settings as fun and enjoyable as possible.

As a small business we work very hard to keep our prices as low as possible, while still giving these special pieces all the time, care, and respect they deserve. Because of this, we are unable to offer any discounts on these special handmade products. Unfortunately we are unable to make any exceptions to this policy, and we thank you in advance for your kind understanding.
Our regular products are made in a production setting. Oftentimes our artists will spend one or two days focusing on a particular object until our inventory is restocked. Repetition of one object allows the artists to get into a flow, making objects much faster to produce. This fast paced environment also allows for imperfections in a small percentage of all their pieces, giving us what glassblowers call ‘seconds’. Memorials are a much more delicate process, and they are made in a much different environment. We only have two artists that are experienced enough to make Memorials, and they make them respectfully in a private setting one at a time. Infusing the ashes into the piece doesn’t allow for mistakes or imperfections, so it’s imperative that they take their time and focus completely on the task at hand.
We only need about 1 teaspoon of ash per item that you would like made.
- Put approximately one teaspoon of ash per Memorial in one plastic sealed bag, then put that bag into another bag (just to be safe!)
- Write your name and order number on the bag.
- Feel free to include a picture of the person or pet. We will have it displayed while making your Memorial to keep that soul in mind.

If you’ve paid for shipping during the ordering process we will ship your Memorial(s) to you along with any unused ashes and pictures.
