Description

Tradition: Breaking the glass at a Jewish wedding is a traditional, memorable ritual where the groom (or both partners) stomps on a wrapped glass, shattering it to mark the end of the ceremony. It symbolizes the destruction of the Temple in Jerusalem, the fragility of relationships, and the commitment to maintain the marriage bond, often accompanied by shouting “Mazel Tov!”

Choose two or three colors from our large selection of glass and we will create your breaking glass for your ceremony. Size is approximately 3″ in diameter and 4″ long.

Warning: Certain colors do combine in a different way than you may think.  If concerned, please consider ordering color samples.  You may also look through our “ordering later” section, as well as the hashtag #terrapinceremonyglass on Facebook & Instagram, to see photo examples of the finished result.

Colors that tend to vary most drastically: red, yellow & oranges.

Keep in mind that it doesn’t work like paint.  We are not responsible if you do not like the outcome.
