A Hot Glass Experience in the Flame Shop
$125 per person. Please register 1 person here via our website.
Details: Join us for an hour-long, no-experience-necessary class! This class takes place in the Flame Shop, where students sit or stand at their own hot torch and work on their projects independently. After a quick demonstration from your instructor, have fun melting your own glass creations for the duration of your scheduled time. Each student should expect to make approximately 4 pipes, depending on how they utilize their time. We will be using a plastic blow hose to do the blowing portion of this class; each student will be given a brand-new mouthpiece.
Age Limits: This is a strictly 21+ class, and we will need to see a valid ID for all participants before class begins, regardless of age.
Cancellation Policy: Schedule your hour-long class here, making your non-refundable payment in advance. We have a 48-hour cancellation policy, where we are happy to reschedule for any reason if you email us a minimum of 48 hours before your scheduled class. In regards to illness or inclement weather, we are most certainly willing to reschedule outside of that 48-hour window, but we do require an e-mail before 9 am the day of your class. No-shows or tardy cancellations will result in us keeping your payment with no exceptions.
On the day of your class: We do not allow guests within the studio outside of our registered students. Sneakers are required – no open-toed shoes.
Finding us: We are located at 79 Hadley Road in Jaffrey, on the blue side of the building. We will meet you at the first doorway 5 minutes before the start of your class. For ramp accessibility, please call upon arrival. 603-593-5073
Gift Shop: We no longer have a large retail space; you will enter through our “Pop Up Shop” which is open to the public by chance when we have enough staff.
After Class: Your class will end on the hour before we respectfully ask you to depart the studio in a timely manner. Your work will be ready for pick-up the day after your class, which you schedule through our calendar at www.terrapinglass.com/calendar .
