A Hot Glass Experience in the Flame Shop
$25 per person. Please register 6 to 18 people here via our website.
Details: The class is one hour long and includes each person taking a turn to make a flower on a torch. If time allows, we will also offer a detailed tour of the studio space and answer questions. Glass will be available for pickup or shipping 24 hours after class.
Age Limits: Children ages 10+ may take the class. At least one adult aged 21 or over must be registered and take the class.
Cancellation Policy: Schedule your hour-long class here, making your non-refundable payment in advance. We have a 48-hour cancellation policy, where we are happy to reschedule for any reason if you email us a minimum of 48 hours before your scheduled class. In regards to illness or inclement weather, we are most certainly willing to reschedule outside of that 48-hour window, but we do require an e-mail before 9 am the day of your class. No-shows or tardy cancellations will result in us keeping your payment with no exceptions. If someone in your group cannot attend, another person may come in their place or one student may choose to make 2.
Payments & Waiver: Full payment must be made in advance at the time of scheduling. Refunds will only be available up to 48 hours after payment. All students must have a parent or guardian sign a waiver. Please email these waivers to the studio at least 24 hours before class. Adults will sign a waiver before class begins.
On the day of your class: We do not allow guests within the studio outside of our registered students. Due to the risk of hot flying glass, sneakers (closed-toed shoes) are required. We also suggest knee-length or long pants. Avoid wearing flowing, fuzzy or puffy clothing (cotton is best).
Finding us: We are located at 79 Hadley Road in Jaffrey, on the blue side of the building. We will meet you at the first doorway 5 minutes before the start of your class. For ramp accessibility, please call upon arrival. 603-593-5073
Gift Shop: We no longer have a large retail space; you will enter through our “Pop Up Shop” which is open to the public by chance when we have enough staff.
After Class: Your class will end on the hour before we respectfully ask you to depart the studio in a timely manner. Your work will be ready for pick-up the day after your class, which you schedule through our calendar at www.terrapinglass.com/calendar .
