How BIG of a glass ball can you melt in 5 minutes?
Because who needs big brass balls… when you can have big glass balls? 
In honor of Father’s Day — and all things stereotypically manly and mildly ridiculous — we’re inviting anyone bold enough to take the torch:
The 5-Minute Ball Melt Challenge!
Melt and shape the biggest glass ball you can in just 5 minutes.
No folding or “snail shelling” — that’s cheating and it won’t survive the kiln!
DETAILS:
Ages 12+
$15 per entry — includes a 5-minute intro, 5 minutes on the torch, and a quick wrap-up
Once the clock runs out, torches go off and balls-on-a-stick head into the kiln.
The biggest intact ball that survives the annealer is crowned Melting Monarch, awarded a Turtle Medal, and gets their $15 back!
All surviving glass balls will be available for pickup the next day — or we’ll happily ship it to you. Your glorious glass creation can become a funky planter, bold swizzle stick, magical wand, or simply a shiny badge of molten honor.
Come solo, bring your crew — no dad is required to enter.
