11:00–11:45 AM: Arrive, Mingle & Snackies and make your bead donations to Beads of Courage
11:45 AM–12:00 PM: Introductions & New England Chapter ISGB Updates
12:00–1:00 PM: Beads of Courage Community Celebration Watch Party

Jean will share updates on the impact of Beads of Courage, current program needs and opportunities, ways artists can get involved, and how our glass community can continue supporting children and families.

Special Guest Demonstration: Jennifer Geldard
We’re thrilled to have bead maker extraordinaire Jennifer Geldard joining us for an afternoon of demonstrations!
This special demonstration is sponsored by the New England Chapter ISGB.
Jennifer will be bringing all of her own demonstration materials and sharing her skills with us from 1:00–3:00 PM.
Beads of Courage — Call for Beads!
As part of our day supporting Beads of Courage, all chapters and chapter members are invited to donate beads.
Donate between September 1 and November 1, 2026, document your donation, and you’ll be entered into a random drawing for fabulous prizes!
Donation Guidelines
- Send bead donations directly to Beads of Courage
3301 N. 1st Ave, Tucson, AZ 85719 - Use the donation form from the Beads of Courage website. Forms will also be available at the watch party.
- Send a photo of your donation, along with the number of beads, your name, email address, and chapter name, to Steve Bay at dalsteve@isgb.org.
- Documentation must be received by November 1, 2026, to qualify for the prize drawing.
- Only one drawing entry per person/chapter name is allowed and to qualify for the drawing, the donation must be for at least 5 beads. Individuals must be a member of an ISGB chapter to be eligible for the drawing.
- If multiple chapter members contribute to one large bead donation, each individual is eligible for a raffle entry as long as their name and email are included in the donation documentation.

Bio:
I can’t remember a time in my life when I wasn’t creating. My earliest memories often involve a crayon firmly grasped in my hand. Since then, there have been many tools in that hand; glass, paintbrush, pencil, sewing needle, and clay modeling tools.
